Mercure Telford Centre Hotel

The hotel offers a genuinely nice atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Everything feels welcoming, calm, and well thought out, making it easy to relax and enjoy your stay. The location in Nice is excellent, with convenient access to the city while still feeling peaceful. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the common areas invite you to slow down. A special mention goes to Helen and Anes in the restaurant, who were absolutely great. Their friendliness, professionalism, and attention to detail made every meal a pleasure. Overall, this hotel delivers warmth, quality service, and a memorable experience worth returning to.

I stay at this hotel often and always have a great experience. The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere is welcoming, which keeps me coming back. The staff truly make the difference. Shannix during the evening dinners stands out in particular — she is exceptionally kind, attentive, and always goes the extra mile to make guests feel looked after. She’s a real credit to the hotel. Helen at breakfast is also wonderful, always friendly and helpful in the mornings. Highly recommended thanks to such great service.

I stay at this hotel usually every month. The food (especially the Chicken Tikka) is nice, and great service from Yuen in the restaurant each time I come. Easy Parking and convenient location close off the M54. Recognition of repeat customers and Accor members could be better as I'm sure this info must be on file.

The food was tasty and the atmosphere very pleasant. Yuen’s kind and attentive service made our meal even more enjoyable. I would happily come back and recommend this restaurant.

The room's were clean and spacious. The food was lovely. Yuen was our server for dinner and like the rest of the hotel staff was very professional and friendly and made sure our dinner orders arrived quickly. Overall had a great stay at the Telford Mercure.

I'm a regular here and therefore seen alot of the hotel and seen how it's run over the years. I stayed in room 710 for 2 nights and I must say I was really pleased. The hotel room was quiet, everything worked, clean and comfortable. Downstairs was a really friendly atmosphere and catered for everything you need. The food at the restaurant was great value and the lady from Hong Kong who looked after us was a really great asset to this hotel. I think her name was Sharn. She was friendly, proffesional and amazing service too so we'll done to her she was excellent. Only quibble I had was the parking where suddenly charged with £12 for parking for the 2 nights which should of been made clearer on our booking so that disgruntled me. I chatted to the reception and discussed this with her and after she explained I felt happy. The location couldn't of been any better, close to shopping centre, retail parks, train station and motorway. So I absolutly recommend this hotel and can't wait to book again and have some more nights there as its great value, convenient, and comfortable. Ideal for us.

From the moment I arrived, the experience was excellent. The reception was warm and welcoming. Mel (Melissa) introduced herself and handled all my reservations, a genuinely lovely, smiling person who made me feel valued. A great start to check-in. Room: I was given a Premium room and was very impressed. Spotlessly clean and well maintained, with a modern bathroom, a large comfortable bed, 55-inch TV, fridge with complimentary drinks, and some lovely chocolate treats. Having stayed in a ridiculous number of hotels, this really stood out. The only minor comments I’d make are that the pillows felt like hollow fibre and didn’t offer much support, and the shower head could do with replacing as it sprayed in all directions and lacked spray-ability. Bar: Sanjeeva at the bar was welcoming and friendly, always smiling, and poured a decent draught beer. The atmosphere was great, with pool tables in the lounge and an excellent selection of hot and cold drinks. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the drink prices were. Location & Parking: Ample parking available, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the shopping mall, Capgemini, and the HMRC building. KFC and Burger King are just a 3–4 minute walk away, with the shopping centre around 5 minutes max. That said, the hotel restaurant menu looked very appealing and well-priced, with good options. Having stayed in many hotels, I would most definitely recommend Mercure Telford. I’m also aware the hotel has a swimming pool and sauna, which is a great bonus. Overall, the hotel has a modern vibe, a great atmosphere, and attentive, friendly staff. A really enjoyable stay.

I don’t do his very often at all but I couldn’t pick anything bad. Parking was good on arrival, was seen promptly and given a room with out any of the normal drama about ID etc. told I was today’s VIP and I would have dinner and welcome drinks which was amazing. Also my room had been upgraded and it was warm when I got In there with a little gift. The bar was a proper late bar, we just asked for drinks and the lady came over even after 0100. Very polite service clean hotel and great breakfast. Overall a very good experience. Would recommend for work travellers. One of the bathrobes may have accidentally ended up in my bag as well.
